a Local Entity
The UAE is the Middle East's most dynamic business hub — home to over 300,000 registered businesses and a multinational workforce across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the Northern Emirates. Atlass Partners acts as your Employer of Record in the UAE, managing visa sponsorship, WPS-compliant payroll, end-of-service gratuity, and full Federal Labour Law compliance.
UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 governs most employment. DIFC and ADGM operate under their own frameworks. With zero personal income tax, world-class infrastructure, and a talent pool drawn from 200+ nationalities, the UAE is the preferred MENA regional headquarters.
UAE Employment Compliance — Fully Managed
◆
WPS Payroll
All UAE employers must pay salaries through the Wage Protection System (WPS) — a government-mandated electronic transfer system. Atlass Partners processes WPS-compliant payroll monthly and submits the Salary Information File (SIF) to MOHRE for all EOR employees.
◆
End-of-Service Gratuity (EOSB)
Under UAE Labour Law: 21 calendar days of basic salary per year for the first 5 years of service; 30 days per year beyond that. Calculated on basic salary only. Atlass Partners accrues and manages EOSB throughout each employee's tenure.
◆
Visa & Work Permit Sponsorship
Atlass Partners is the legal employer and visa sponsor — managing the full Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) work permit, residence visa, Emirates ID, and medical screening process for every EOR employee.
◆
Annual Leave & Benefits
Under UAE law: 30 calendar days annual leave per year after 1 year of service; 2 days per month in the first year. Atlass Partners administers leave accrual, 11 annual public holidays, and sick leave under Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021.
◆
Notice Periods & Termination
Both employer and employee must give a minimum 30-day notice period under UAE Labour Law. Atlass Partners manages all termination documentation, final settlement calculations, accrued leave payout, and cancellation of residence visa and work permit.
◆
DIFC & ADGM Frameworks
Employees in DIFC and ADGM are governed by separate employment regulations — DIFC Employment Law 2019 and ADGM Employment Regulations 2019 — distinct from UAE Federal Labour Law. We structure EOR arrangements for both jurisdictions on request.
